We were called in on to correct a problem
with Quick Books, secure their network, update all the
computer operating systems, and remove spy-ware and
viruses. We corrected these issues, and also
installed a new secure wireless access point for the
owner's laptop. Additionally, we set this client
up with a remote backup solution that did not involve
employee effort or additional hardware. Finally,
at the customer's request, we provided a server quote
for this client's growing business needs.
Business Needs
This
client had several computers and a laptop that had
not been updated or scanned in years. Their
computers were running extremely slow, and they
suspected they were infected with spy-ware and
viruses.
An employee in accounting left the
company, and 'suddenly' no one could access the
Quick Books file.
Update all computers with
latest operating system patches, centralized
auto-updating
virus control, and securing the environment from
outside infiltration.
We setup a new wireless
access point for the owner's laptop, and secured it
from outside.
Restore the Quick Books file, while
the master record was being repaired by Intuit.
Securely backup data without
thinking about it, without involving employee
effort, or additional hardware expense.
The client requested a quote to
implement a full blown server solution.
